What a fun morning on the shore!  I knew this morning would be special, the couple was celebrating 35 years of marriage with a vowel renewal alongside their kids at the Brooklyn Estate in Berlin, MD just minutes outside of Ocean City.  Every detail had been meticulously planned and the decor and weather was gorgeous.  Alison gave a perfect ceremony and we did posed and candid portraits of the couple.  The morning soiree ended with a dip in the pool for the whole family, it was quite amazing to capture!

What an incredible afternoon wedding!  Not a cloud in the sky or a drop of rain in sight yet the humidity was low and the temperature very comfortable.  We kicked off the afternoon finishing up with hair and make up in Ocean Pines and headed down to Lighthouse Sound to get dressed and finish with wedding preparations.  Melissa with Lighthouse Sound was super helpful and made each transition of the day go seamless.  After the ceremony the couple and I got to take golf carts out on the golf course for portraits at a few quiet intimate spots before coming back and partying the rest of the night to the musical styles of Justin Darling.    The couple opted for sunrise beach portraits the next morning to accommodate doing beach portraits in their wedding attire but around the Ocean City traffic that crowded the surrounding roads the day before, the sunrise was one of the best I have shot this year and they were game for playing in the sand on the beach.  It was so hard to choose just a handful to share for now, I can't wait for them to see the portraits from both days in all their glory.  Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Powell, I wish you a lifetime of happiness together <3

It was a pleasure to meet this little cutie turning one on the beaches of Ocean City!  We had a fun little family session shot in earlier than sunset bright sun.  The clouds were just beautiful, some of my favorites all year!

We really had to dodge some gnarly weather the evening these were taken.  My only session all summer that we actually had to call five minutes into because of lightening, not to worry though, I came back at sunrise the next morning to finish out their beach family photos <3
