Fager's Island Wedding, Air Force Master Sargeant and His Bride | Ocean City Photographer | Dana Marie Photography

What a beautiful wedding day!  We started with a "first look" shoot at the Hilton.  Since the wedding was going to be at Fager's Island on the bay we wanted to get some fun beachy pics before we left for Fager's.  The first look was beautiful.  He was in his Air Force Dress Blues and she swooned at the sight of him.  She carried one of the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen, a personalized and custom made brooch bouquet made by the Ritzy Rose.  I was in awe of it's beauty and delighted to see that her daughter carried her own special one that had many butterfly pins in it, the butterfly is a symbol for thyroid cancer and we had much to celebrate that day!  We went to Fager's for a brightly sun lit ceremony in the gazebo and the wedding party had the VIP section to themselves.  At Sunset when Fager's played the 1812 Overture we went back out to the gazebo for a few sunset photos and finally ended with a few on the dance floor.  With three hours of photography coverage we were able to capture some getting ready, a first look, ceremony, formal family shots, candids of the party, sunset couples photos and a few of the dance.  It was a great day.

Oceanview Lane | Ocean City Real Estate Photographer | Dana Marie Photography, LLC

I loved taking photos of this home.  This 4,000+ square foot home is now for sale in West Ocean City.  The home has a private dock that we got to go off of in a boat to take some shots from the water.  This property is located at a central part of West Ocean City that overlooks the inlet as well as Assateague Island - a perfect spot for bird and pony watchers!  My favorite part was going back at night for these crazy night shots, I loved the way the light bounced back off of the water!

Sweet Baby Boy {D}, 11 Days New | Pocomoke Newborn Baby Photographer | Dana Marie Photography

Loved seeing these guys come into my studio.  This precious babe at just 11 days new was quite a champ at sleeping for me.  We finished the session in 35 min from start to finish!  Definitely my shortest newborn session to date!  They came from Pocomoke to see me in my West Ocean City studio.

Child Birthday Photographer | Ocean City, MD | Dana Marie Photography | Fun with Apples

My baby turned 4.  I had the perfect idea for birthday photos when I made this banner last summer and found this vibrant backdrop to go with it.  I couldn't wait for a fall Birthday Session with my sweet boy who was no longer a toddler!  He loved posing with the basket of apples and sampling a couple of them!  Big brother wanted to get in on the action too and loved enjoying apple treats when we were finished.  We had apples for snack for several days leftover from this fun photography session!

Back to School Photos | Dana Marie Photography | Ocean Pines, MD

I have to brag on these guys for a bit.  Logging onto Facebook this morning and seeing all of the back to school photos everyone is posting, sure makes me nostalgic of all the first days we have had with our own "babies".  Now my baby is 4 and starting a Pre-K program, my how the time has flown!  Take these photos, take them on your camera, your cell phone, whatever you can grab but take pictures of your babies on their first and last days of school, you will be happy you did and so will they when looking at them over the years!
