The most wonderful time of year!  I love Christmas Holiday Mini-Sessions!  Parents can use images for creating their own Christmas cards or Prints and Wall Art for gifts.  We had a lot of fun designing these set this year and the children loved playing with the fun props.  These are just some of the fun photos we took this season in the studio for the holidays :)

Oh what fun!  I loved seeing all of these sweet families in the studio for their holiday photos this season.  So many little ones growing up and meeting many new friends and faces for the first time.  I love this time of year and getting to see so many cute Christmas outfits and pajamas.  Families were able to make their own Christmas Cards, gifts and prints with their images.

 I can't believe this little miss is hitting one year old this week.  Those big bright blue eyes and squishy cheeks, oh my goodness!  Momma made a special yogurt cake that was tasty and not so full of sugar as what you find in the stores.  This sweet little pea loved every bite of it and was licking plate to get the last drops.

You can't imagine how happy this piece of art makes me!  As an artist I get excited to meet a fellow artist that offers a cool unique product and even more so when they are crazy talented and have only just begun to refine their craft.  McIntosh Woodworks has a great eye for turning rubbish palette wood into works of art.  When I first saw Nevin's palette artwork hanging for sale in BomShell I thought wow what a need product.  I contacted him about making me something custom for my office wall and he delivered.  While I have had home offices for as long as I can remember and a few studio spaces now, this is the first time I have had a studio with a deliberate office space that is used for some of the legwork that comes along with being a business owner.  I wanted a statement piece for my wall that I could be excited to look at and share and my best idea was something to show the love I have for Dave Matthews Band.  I contacted him about creating a fire dancer on his palette wood creations and within days he delivered a beautiful work of art that just made my day and my office walls a little more like home.

I love the look of the wood, it is beautiful unpainted in itself but I wanted something even more artistic and contrasty.  I love the way the black shadows the curves of the dancer and I love the way it looks with my gold beaded curtain and gold embellishments on my office wall.

I had Nevin also make some custom shelving for me.  The shelving will be hung on the wall behind my chair later this week and some cool pics to follow of that!  Here is a photo of them waiting for hardware.

Look at these sweet little faces!  Celebrating their first and third birthdays very soon, this dynamic duo came in to the studio for their holiday and Christmas photos.  I can't believe the little guy is already standing, seems like just last month I took his newborn photos!

Loved meeting this family for maternity family portraits.  Set in a West Ocean City park setting, the weather was a crisp fall afternoon and the kids loved walking through the woods to our destination.  Can't wait to meet her sweet babe in January!
