I was completely honored to photograph this lovely couple in my home church, SonRise in Berlin, MD.  The ceremony was extremely intimate with the closest of family and friends.  The weather was overcast and chilly but that didn't stop them from getting some amazing outdoor poses with beautiful lighting in the bridal portraits in between the ceremony and the meal.

 Love these little guys!  I love the expressions on their faces when they are playing with the chicks.  In some frames they are serious and nozzely as if it were a real chick and in others they are smiling at them and trying to break open the eggs.  I love the mystery of the eggs when you are a kid at Easter - is there something in it?  Does it open?  Can you eat what's inside???

Such a beautiful little chick pea!  She was so sweet and smiled perfectly for her photos.  Easter Mini-Sessions were something I offered for my line of child photography this year.  With three set ups, you will get a variety of looks in your photos.  So far these sessions have been a big hit!  I have a few more spots open for this weekend if you are interested.

I am not a huge fan of the selective coloring but on the right photo, it is kinda cool.  I had a blast testing out my new Easter Mini-Session set up on my kids.  So happy they were excited to have their photos taken!  No chicks were harmed in the taking of these photos, I will not take photos with live chics, ducks, bunnies and whatever other trends there are.  These animals could be harmed inadvertently by small children during the photo sessions and they also carry the risk of spreading salmonella to your children aside from the risk of biting and being pooped on.

Easter Mini-Sessions | Dana Marie Photography

I am putting together a set of Easter Sessions as a fundraiser to help our family aide in the expenses of my son's limb lengthening surgery in Baltimore, MD.  My son was born with a short left leg and will undergo a series of surgeries to correct this.  You can read more about his story on Footprints for Brayden.

So this is what 10,000 ISO looks like, yes you read that correctly.  These photos were shot at 10,000 ISO with my Canon Camera.  Just for a little fun I took photos of my son watching the snow flakes fall after his bedtime.  There is some noise in the photos but for 10,000 ISO, I would say these are not too shabby!

I loved this shoot!  The weather was foggy and chilly and we were still able to totally rock these photos.  This couple is absolutely adorable and I very much enjoyed photographing a special day for them.
