What an amazing event.  What was going to be a simple small styled shoot with a bride and groom to show off the Eastern Shore's own Brooklyn Meadows turned into a big wedding bash soiree!  The couple was going to actually be married at the styled shoot and when we heard their story vendors jumped in to make big things happen for them.  They had planned to wed later this year but the bride's father was having health issues and him walking her down the aisle was a dream and desire for both of them!  The wedding was designed, styled and planned in a mere 4 weeks time.  Brooklyn Meadows provided an amazing venue for not only the wedding ceremony and reception but also housed much of their family staying in town also giving them lots of time together around the pool and sitting rooms to spend time relaxing before the wedding.

Andrea Bounds Beauty team came in and did the hair and make up for all of the bridal party and mom's using the venue's spa room.  Once the bride was dressed we took portraits in and around the venue's home before heading up to the guys for a few pre-ceremony images.  The couple did a first look just outside the front door that provided shade from the high noon sun and a gorgeous backdrop and reveal with her stepping out of the front door.

The ceremony was held out front of the mansion with guests seated in church pews and chiavari chairs.  A cocktail hour was held around the pool for guests and Liquid Assets provided taste apps and teasers for the dinner to come.  The couple was announced into the tent and the party kicked off with a first dance that had everyone swooning.

In following persian custom, the couple was seated at their Sofreh Aghd table where family held a termeh above the bride and groom giving a prayer and a blessing on the couple and they exchanged the first taste of honey to symbolize their first taste as a married couple.  The party kicked into full gear right away with the dance floor opening and friends and family surrounding the couple dancing to traditional persian music and modern day pop songs.

The groom danced with his mom and the bride danced with her father, guests cheered on from their chairs and surrounding areas and the added lighting from Light It Up! gave a beautiful ambiance to these incredibly emotion filled dances.

Preceding the cake cutting was an elaborate knife dance in which the knife was passed around by guests before making it to the couple.  Coins were tossed at the knife's holder as it made it's way around the room.  The couple finally received their knife and cut into their cake made by Sugar Rush by Theresa.  Following the cake cutting we made our way back out to the front of the venue for a sparkler photo with the bridal party just past sunset.

Congratulations Sam & Dan, thank you for braving the heat and allowing us to be such a special part of your big day!
