Juliana & John are Married | Cripple Creek, Delaware Winter Wedding | Photographer, Dana Marie Photography

Ceremony & Reception Venue | Cripple Creek Golf Course

I loved this wedding!  So close to Christmas, just two days before the big man comes down the chimney and this sweet couple tied the knot with family and friends at the Cripple Creek Golf Course in De.  The weather was beautiful, while I think she was holding out for snow we were delighted with 55 degree weather on the water and very little wind during pictures.  The manager of the course drove us around to the most beautiful spaces during portrait time and guests were excited to watch the Eagles game during cocktail hour.  The reception carried on with lots of musical favorites of the couple and family, the first dance was a beautiful slow dance to the song, "Baby It's Cold Outside".  I loved watching the bride lip sing the words to the groom as they graced around the dance floor.  The groom was surprised by a video call speech from a best friend who could not make the wedding, everyone was excited and delighted but none more than the groom who did his best to keep it together upon seeing him on the big screen!  Congratulations Juliana & John, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

Raegan is Here | Ocean City Newborn Photographer | Dana Marie Photography

I just love photographing sweet babies in the new studio, it has the perfect combination of natural and artificial lighting.  I have loved watching this sweet family grow from their engagement pictures through their wedding, maternity and now their precious new baby.  So excited to see what more the future has in store for them.

Fall Family Portraits, Berlin, MD | Family Photographer, Dana Marie Photography

I loved meeting up with this family after school one afternoon in the fall.  We had a great time playing in the leaves and taking photos of the family and kids.

11/11/18, talk about a star crossed wedding!  When I first started corresponding with Sorelle I was excited to yet again be photographing a wedding on the date 11/11, a date that holds so much excitement and joy for love.  Their story was a beautiful one, one of a couple who had known each other for years and through hardships and faith came together later in life to be there for one another.  They had no idea of the significance of the numbers 11/11 when we talked but their ceremony cemented what I already knew.  The ceremony was ornate and beautiful, very unique in it's right.  The ketubah was a beautiful work of art, something hand picked by the couple and signed with witnesses just before the ceremony upstairs.  The couple stood under their Chuppah, not just an altar of four posts but a beautifully draped material that was held by four men close to the couple.  The Rabbi read sentiments written from the bride and groom about each other and their relationship and it was the most awe inspiring and entertaining ceremony a person could attend.  Everyone was captivated by the emotional and sometimes very funny perspectives of the couple on their relationship.  The Rabbi even talked about Soulmates coming together and called in the spirits of those passed close to the couple and family.  Following the breaking of the glass and portraits, friends and family were treated to music selections from Steve Moody's Entertainment collection with Steve Moody himself hosting. I love working at wedding with Steve, he is an amazing personable guy and as you can see in the photos, he really gets to know a couple and enjoys being surrounded with love and joy on wedding days!  A DJ can be the heartbeat of a party and he sure kept a strong beat going.  The couple enjoyed sweet treats from Dolle's Candy Shoppe and a beautiful beachy cake from Baked Dessert Company in Berlin.  Thank you Sorelle & Rob for having me be a part of your beautiful wedding day, I so enjoyed spending such a special time with you both!
