11/11/18, talk about a star crossed wedding! When I first started corresponding with Sorelle I was excited to yet again be photographing a wedding on the date 11/11, a date that holds so much excitement and joy for love. Their story was a beautiful one, one of a couple who had known each other for years and through hardships and faith came together later in life to be there for one another. They had no idea of the significance of the numbers 11/11 when we talked but their ceremony cemented what I already knew. The ceremony was ornate and beautiful, very unique in it's right. The ketubah was a beautiful work of art, something hand picked by the couple and signed with witnesses just before the ceremony upstairs. The couple stood under their Chuppah, not just an altar of four posts but a beautifully draped material that was held by four men close to the couple. The Rabbi read sentiments written from the bride and groom about each other and their relationship and it was the most awe inspiring and entertaining ceremony a person could attend. Everyone was captivated by the emotional and sometimes very funny perspectives of the couple on their relationship. The Rabbi even talked about Soulmates coming together and called in the spirits of those passed close to the couple and family. Following the breaking of the glass and portraits, friends and family were treated to music selections from Steve Moody's Entertainment collection with Steve Moody himself hosting. I love working at wedding with Steve, he is an amazing personable guy and as you can see in the photos, he really gets to know a couple and enjoys being surrounded with love and joy on wedding days! A DJ can be the heartbeat of a party and he sure kept a strong beat going. The couple enjoyed sweet treats from Dolle's Candy Shoppe and a beautiful beachy cake from Baked Dessert Company in Berlin. Thank you Sorelle & Rob for having me be a part of your beautiful wedding day, I so enjoyed spending such a special time with you both!

What an amazing Saturday on the shore! After two days of the outskirts of a tropical depression skirting the shore and a radar that look like a rainbow of colors spilled all over, there was not a drop of rain in sight once the ceremony started! All eyes were on the skies and a few little sprinkles hit as we did the first look and prepared for photos before the ceremony but once it was time for the vows the skies parted and the rain stopped for the day. The couple incorporated jewish customs into the ceremony and reception and were married by co-officiants - sisters of the bride and groom. The party went hard inside Harrisons and guests to some of the bride's most favorite tunes.
Congratulations Bob & Terri, we wish you a lifetime of happiness

I knew when I met this couple last Spring and he came in with a Newsboys T-Shirt on that they were going to be fun to work with! The day was amazing, her father married them right on the beach in front of Harrison's Harborwatch and we enjoyed a portrait session on and around the rocks before joining the party back inside. After introductions and a toast to the couple where they were donned the adjectives servant and overcomer respectively, Jim played one of the bride's favorite songs, "Clean" by Natalie Grant. We danced the night away with fun music from there before ending the evening on the boardwalk with a sparkler exit. Such a beautiful pre-fall evening on the Eastern Shore, congratulations Troy & Elaine, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!!
