We started at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Ocean City, this venue has immediately become one of my favorite getting ready spots for couples preparing for their wedding. The beautiful waterfront views and large suites in the hotel create the most beautiful open and well lit areas for getting dressed and ready to go for girls and guys. Leila with Leila Marie Artistry made up the ladies flawlessly from the comfort of the suite while the guys were getting ready two floors away. Guests were transported to the Church where the ceremony was held and seated by the groomsmen.
The service at the church was beautiful, the church and Father Porter held a lot of sentimental value to Amanda having grown up and through the stages of christening and first holy communion and now having her wedding there as well. After a few portraits on the church grounds we headed to the beach for a glorious sunny backdrop behind crashing waves and windy skies. The party was carried upstairs to the venue where the couple made their grand entrance through the elevator.
Harrison's Harborwatch does an amazing job with food and this evening did not disappoint. Guests were treated to stations of fresh seafood and fish options followed by delicious treats from Sugar Rush by Theresa. Darling Wedding Productions did an amazing job keeping the party on the dance floor all night long. The couple ended their evening with a luminating sparkler exit on the boardwalk before guests were taken back to their hotel.
