I am loving these new style newborn shoots done in the studio, they have more of a lifestyle session feel to them.  Since the fall of last year I have transitioned my newborn shoots back to the basics, more classic and timeless.  Focusing on the baby with parents, with mom and with dad, focusing on their features and less on the object they are propped with I am spending more time putting the families in front of my lens.  These sessions have cut my newborn session time from 3 hours to about an hour and a quarter so this gives exhausted parents a shorter trip to the studio and getting baby back home.  With the all inclusive option get access to all of the delivered digital images to be able to print on your own at your leisure.  Add the maternity all inclusive for an even bigger savings.

The second newborn in the garden studio, now that everything has been set up and complete this little guy came into the studio and we had the coziest session.  When Mama told me she liked monkeys I thought of the perfect little sock puppet outfit to work with him.  This was one of the first sessions in the new babies and boudoir studio and the time was about an hour versus the typical 2-3 hour session.

Introducing a new kind of newborn photography session.  Relax in your home and let me come to you and do all of the work.  Lifestyle photos are about the day to day caring for your baby in a natural setting (their own environment).  I come to your home, we will take photos of your baby snuggling with mom and dad, maybe in the parents bed or momma rocking baby in the nursery.  You spent months building the perfect nursery and a lot of time went into selecting the perfect color for the walls and finding just the right accessories, why not use that picturesque setting for your baby's photos!

Lifestyle newborn sessions will last about 60-90 min and cost about half of the studio session.  I will bring professional lighting equipment to your home to give your images a beautiful pop of light.  We will take pictures of baby alone, with siblings and with parents during the session and try to do it within the first two to three weeks of life.  Contact me today and ask about your lifestyle newborn session.

In the past, the distant past, photographers came to your home and it was a big deal to have family portraits taken in your home.  I am bringing some of that past flavor back to offer unique to your family portraits in the comfort of your home.  I will bring on location lighting and equipment, you supply the family to photograph!  What a treat it was taking these luvies pictures at their house, I got to spend some quality time with their new little kittens when we wrapped up shooting!  What a way to relieve stress and worry about getting to the studio to take portraits, just have them done in front of your own tree!
