What a fun shoot to be apart of.  A few of us ladies took over Harrison's Harborwatch for an afternoon and had some fun playing with decor and floral arrangements and shooting in some different lighting conditions.  Heidi O'Donnell was just a pleasure to work with and helped us to everything we needed to pull off this shoot.

We started with a tropical theme and model Michelle Watts in her Maggie Sottero gown and transitioned to more of a nautical theme elegantly decorated with pieces from Little Miss Lovely and Alison to the Altar and candy favors from MarySue Candies.  Minted weddings provided the stationary used for this shoot.

Ami with Little miss Lovely modeled a gown from Lulu's and a floral headpiece with veil attachment from a Little Miss Lovely collection with matching flower ring as well as jewelry by Simply Vera by Vera Wang and rings from Newshe Jewelry.

I can't say enough good things about Hair & Make Up Artist Andrea Bounds.  She has an incredible eye for color palettes and the right amount of drama with my clients and working with these models was no exception.  Andrea provided hair and make up for model Michelle and gave her a tussled romantic look that was just gorgeous.  For Ami's make up she matched her style perfectly with earthy tones and the right amount of pop in color choices.

Sugar Rush provided a most tasty treat for us to work with at the venue and when we were done we got to indulge in the yummiest sweetest cupcakes!

I love this!  This sweet boy came to see me for his first birthday photos and cupcake smash!  What a great time we had, he loved his cake and loved even more to share it with Mom and Dad!

 I loved having these sweet four babes in the studio for their Valentines Day Photo shoot in their matching pink and white candy stripe dresses.  Mama sure has her hands full with these four beautifies and they were so busy and fun to play with, it sure made my job a breeze to catch them in their element playing with the props.

Love is in the air and these two little cuties have been bitten by the love bug.  They were so sweet and snuggly on my rug while I took their Minnie and Mickey themed Valentines Day photos.  I loved spending time with them and seeing how much they have grown just since right before Christmas <3

2016 Commodores Ball, Ocean City, MD | Princess Royale Hotel Reception | Dana Marie Photography

What a fun event!  When I was approached to shoot the Commodores Ball in Ocean City, MD at the Princess Royale Hotel I knew it sounded like it would be a fun event.  The evening started with portraits of some of the commodores in their full uniform with their dates and spouses and as groups. After an hour and 150 portraits we moved into a cocktail hour where about 300 of their friends greeted them and joined in for a snack before the big event.  Later that evening started the dinner where about 500-600 guests attended a dinner and reception for the coming in Commodore of the year and honored this years awards winners followed by a rocking party with the band Don't Stop rocking the place out.  It was a very fun event to be a part of and I will look forward to seeing some familiar and new faces next year :)

So much hair on such a small baby!  This little peanut came to see me at 5 five new but he was born 6 weeks early which evened out to about his due date when he was in the studio.  He slept so soundly and gave me the biggest bright eyes on camera ~ swoon!
