Man's best friend!  Meet Roscoe, this sweet guy is up there in dog years and has lost most of his hearing.  Friendly as can be and just lovable, I was excited to spend an evening with him and his owner, Russell Hammond of Russell T Hammond Surveying down at Assateague on the Eastern Shore of MD.

Hellloooo BomShell!  So excited to photograph the new arrivals this week for BomShell Boutique in West Ocean City, MD.  The colors popped and the weather was gorgeous for us!  Loved seeing these looks on Ashley and can't wait to get in the store to pick some of them up!  Don't forget to shop the store online for ordering from afar!

We traded in the heels for boots for a few looks this week at our BomShell Boutique model shoot!  We had a couple of friendly equestrian pals visit us while shooting!  A huge thank you to Krista Brooks for hosting us out on her farm, Whispering Acres this week for our shoot.  The steady rains the day before didn't keep us girls from having a good time and getting our shoot done.  I loved the beautiful fencing, gorgeous luscious green grass and pretty wildflowers in the field.  Shooting in full high sun was no challenge for us girls, it was a great time!  Can't wait to go back and do it again!

What a fun shoot for BomShell Boutique today!  We were a little nervous about the weather but the rain held off and the fog ended up being a nice touch for the beach shore shots.  I loved the "Beach Hair Don't Care" tank!  That was my favorite and if you are anything like me you could rock that slogan all year long!  Living at the beach my hair is always a mess and I wouldn't have it any other way!

A morning coffee spent talking to this lovely lady about her Doula practice.  As her photographer and friend I am so excited to see her flourish doing something she loves.  I have never met a more down to earth, fun and energetic mother, wife and friend as Angie.  I would have loved to have her be at my side when I needed help most during labor and after having my own babies.  Angie will be working with mothers and being their supporter and advocate during labor and delivery and also helps with postpartum care, helping new moms care for their babies in those first few tough weeks.  Please check out her profile and give her a call or recommend a mom to her that you think would love the help of transitioning into motherhood for the first time or not.

I love repeat clients!  Michelle was one of my first headshot clients years ago and I was tickled pink when she called for updated head shots to show her current look and hairstyle.  Since those first head shots were taken she has had a baby and joined Crossfit Assateague and really put herself in optimal shape, if you have visited that gym you may recognize her as one of the coaches.  I am so proud of her and happy to have her in my life!  I also love when clients want to put their best foot forward and really care about what their headshot says about them.

What a day!  The weather forecast called for nice weather but the sky told a different story all day long.  After a long day of rain this day was cloudy, dreary and drizzly through the better part of the afternoon.  About 3pm the rain went away and the sun peaked out just in time to dry up some of the wet grass...but not all.  The lighting could not have been better for this portrait session.  This beautiful woman wanted some gorgeous new business head shots and in a hurry and I was going to deliver rain or shine.  There were so many great poses to choose from, it was hard to narrow my favorites!

For those of you who have been on the fence about updating your business photo, especially when you are in a business where your photo is sometimes the only first impression you get to make, I want you to look at your photo online from an objective point of view and ask what it says about you.  Looking for a business professional, I would choose someone who cared about what image they chose to make that first impression with before I would choose a professional using a cell phone camera selfie or cropped snapshot.
