Business Headshot Photography, Ocean City, MD | Dana Marie Photography for Michelle Watts
I love repeat clients! Michelle was one of my first headshot clients years ago and I was tickled pink when she called for updated head shots to show her current look and hairstyle. Since those first head shots were taken she has had a baby and joined Crossfit Assateague and really put herself in optimal shape, if you have visited that gym you may recognize her as one of the coaches. I am so proud of her and happy to have her in my life! I also love when clients want to put their best foot forward and really care about what their headshot says about them.

ReplyDeleteThis was a thoughtful and practical guide to business headshot photography that many photographers will find really valuable. I appreciate how you broke down your approach to working with clients, especially the way you emphasized communication and making people feel comfortable in front of the camera — that’s often just as important as technical skills. Your tips about lighting, posing, and selecting backgrounds also help show how professional results are created, not just captured by chance. For anyone exploring a Guide Professional Headshot Guide, this post offers clear insight into both the creative and business sides of headshot work, including how to deliver images that clients will be happy with. Thanks for sharing such practical, real‑world advice that’s grounded in experience!
