Senior Beach Portraits of a Frontiertown Cowboy | Dana Marie Photography, Ocean City, MD Beach Photographer

When Mama booked the session and told me her son was a cowboy at Frontiertown during the summer, I got really excited about his senior portraits.  How fun to have my own private show of the cowboy and his whip and pistol twirling.  I knew I wanted to do something fun and crazy with lighting this young man's many talents and we pulled off all the tricks of the trade to create memory lasting photos to save for his senior year in high school.

This stunning senior was so much fun to photograph at the fields and waterfront property of James Farm in Ocean View, DE.  She is a Stephen Decatur High School senior and when she described what she envisioned for her senior photos I knew just the place!  We had a lot of fun making the trip over and photographing her playing in her books in the grassy field before making the long hike through the woods to get to the waterfront property.  We made it to the beach just as the sun was setting and it was spectacular!

This little lady has some serious moves!  When she told me she was a dancer on the phone my mind raced with all the fun things we could do with beach sunsets and cool lighting for her senior portraits.  We met on the beaches of Assateague and shot some posed portraits right on the beach and near the dunes.  We moved the session over to the bayside and caught a gorgeous sunset over the bay followed by some fun dancing backlit shots.  I put my speed lights right into the water to capture these gorgeous images and was ecstatic with the results.

It is not too late to have senior photos done for the Class of 2015.  I enjoyed spending time with this young man and learning about his Senior Year activities.  I was excited when his Mama told me that he was a firefighter cadet with the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Dept.  We took his photos on Prom day so he was able to bring in his tux from Prom.  This young man has a bright future ahead for him and I am happy to have met him in my studio for Senior Portraits.

So much talent in one little lady!  This 2015 Stephen Decatur High School Grad was a girl of many talents and I had the distinct pleasure of hearing her bust out a tune on the boardwalk.  I enjoyed listening to her play her guitar and was floored when she told me she was self taught!  I loved listening to her talk about her hobbies making videos and playing with her brother, fun stuff!  She braved the windy temps for some chilly boardwalk photos, what a fun afternoon!

Senior Portraits on the each in December?  Sure, why not!  With a balmy (for December), 60 degree temp reading this little chicky braved the breeze with bare feet after taking a few cap and gown and relaxed studio photos for her graduation pictures.  While she is a senior, she is a college senior graduating from Princeton this May, so proud of her!!!
