I can't say enough good things about this wedding!  I had never been to the Pots Nets Community Pavillion and it was a dreamland for weddings!  After the couple got ready in homes across from each other within the community we were able to utilize a beautiful beach area for the bride with her girls before heading to the pavillion.  When we arrived at the pavillion it was so beautifully set next to the water and surrounded by lots of lush landscaping.  Once the ceremony took place we were able to use some of the taller landscaping for protection from wind and the trees and skies behind them was just exquisite.  Maurice brought the heat for video and we had fun coordinating portraits and timing throughout the day to maximize picture and video opportunities. After the couple was announced in they broke into a graceful well choreographed dance followed by speeches that left everyone laughing and crying with joy for the couple.  The best man's speech was one of the top few I have ever heard, everyone was on the edge of their seat listening to him roast and toast the groom.  Family and friends enjoyed a fun taco bar before dancing and laughing the entire night away!  Congratulations Mark & Heather, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Beach Senior Portraits, Dancing Photos | Ocean City, MD - Dana Marie Photography

This little lady has some serious moves!  When she told me she was a dancer on the phone my mind raced with all the fun things we could do with beach sunsets and cool lighting for her senior portraits.  We met on the beaches of Assateague and shot some posed portraits right on the beach and near the dunes.  We moved the session over to the bayside and caught a gorgeous sunset over the bay followed by some fun dancing backlit shots.  I put my speed lights right into the water to capture these gorgeous images and was ecstatic with the results.
