Look at the dazzling eyes on this happy little guy!  This family came down to visit the Ocean City shore beach and had a great time doing it!  He was so sweet and at just turning one he was timidly taking a few steps for me here and there.  It took him a little bit to warm up to me so we took our time getting him acquainted with me and my camera but once he warmed up he was on fire with smiles and squeals!  He loved drumming on the Ocean City Pier pilings and seeing the waves come up on the shore!

Sometimes babies can't get in to see me right away.  This couple lived several hours away and traveled up to visit family and have newborn photos taken when their daughter was approaching the six week mark.  I often get asked what age I will take newborns up to, my first answer is any age but for the squishy newborn pose portraits it really depends on the baby.  Babies tend to startle easier past the three week mark, they lose some of their flexibility as a newborn and in some cases have more tummy troubles than under three weeks which causes them to be uncomfortable when they aren't being held.  I will accept babies of any age but parents must be realistic of their expectations of the session and I must say, the "older" newborns give me some of the most beautiful smiles and expressions I wouldn't be able to capture at just two weeks old so there are pros and cons to every age of newborn photography.

Loved taking these senior portraits in Salisbury at Schumaker Park.  His girlfriend came along and we snuck in a few couples shots towards the end.  We walked along the Schumaker Pond water at sunset and finished with a few images over by the Ward Museum.  Just as the sun was just about gone he told me of his tattoo that was gotten in memory of his Uncle whom passed away this year, naturally I knew he needed a good portrait showcasing this beautiful tattoo so we pulled out a little lighting trick and took this on the park grounds.  Congratulations class of 2015 Senior!

Loved meeting this gorgeous new mama to be who came to me from Pocomoke, the maternity gown and fabrics were gorgeous with her skin tones.  I can't wait to meet her little man in September!

I loved meeting this little guy, can you guess what Baseball Team his daddy is a big fan of?  I loved incorporating the Orioles theme into his newborn session.  He fit so snuggly into Daddy's baseball glove and snuggled right into Daddy's arms for the Daddy and Me poses.  He was such a sweet little guy and slept so well for me, I wanted to snuggle with him all day long!

Met this pretty mama for studio maternity photos.  Due in just a few short weeks she had gorgeous eyes and the cutest little belly, can't wait to meet the rest of her family!
