This family is so fun to see on the beaches of Ocean City each year.  Every year the three families come together for vacation and call me for beach family portraits of them together on the beach.  I love the colors they choose for their portrait sessions and it is so fun to watch the kids grow year after year.  I am completely blessed to have families trust me with their beach vacation memories and especially so to those who do it year after year with me.   What was really cool about this particular evening is that during the portrait session one of the gentleman proposed to his girlfriend right in front of everyone and they had no idea what was about to go down!  I absolutely love what I do and getting to share these precious memories with clients.

What a sweet little princess!  I loved meeting her and her family in my Ocean City studio.  She is wearing a custom jewelry piece from Bonnie Preziosi a local artist in Ocean City who makes custom jewelry and one of a kind paintings that can be seen all around Ocean City, MD in stores.

What a fun evening meeting this family and taking their beach family portraits just before sunset.  We had a lot of fun playing in the water and letting the kids play on the beach during pictures.  I loved how sweet they were and how well they got along.  Mom & Dad have the super cool place in Ocean City, Mug & Mallet and it is definitely a hotspot off the boardwalk to check out when you are in town before or after getting your family portraits done with me!

Loved meeting these two on the beach enjoying their time in Ocean City with Grandma!  We got out just in time, the rain started to pour as we finished up and just barely trickled during our shoot together!

I can't believe this little man is turning two!  For two years I have photographed his first smiles and steps and this night was pretty special too!  We had an evening of fun on the beach and ended with a sweet treat of Dumser's Ice Cream on the boardwalk.  Loved hearing him talk and talk and talk and he loved splashing in the Ocean and getting his ice cream.

Such a happy baby!  We met on the shore to take 6 month milestone sessions near the ocean!  She had such a good time watching the waves and smiling and cooing at me behind my lens!  I just wanted to snuggle her up for the evening!!

Just in the nick of time...We could see the clouds rolling over and after having a week of storms I knew it was coming our way.  The pre-stormy skies were a beautiful hue of orange with a faint purple, I loved the way they complimented Mama's pretty lavender dress!  Her sweet girl is over the moon about being a big sister soon and she couldn't wait to surprise her grandmother with these maternity photos for her birthday!

When he called to tell me of his plan to surprise his girlfriend by proposing on the beach I was more than happy for these guys!  He was so happy and full of excitement and wanting this to go perfect.  We set up a rouse on the beach, I was "photographing my daughter" when they happened to walk by us and I turned my lens to them as they walked past me.  He got down on one knee and proposed right on the beach!  A group of young men who had been playing ball on the beach saw what was about to go down and cleared the area for them.  When she said yes and grabbed on to him the on lookers erupted with clapping and cheering!  It felt like a fairytale proposal and I was so honored to be a part of it <3
