What a morning this beach wedding was.  The couple planned to marry out back of the Princess Bayside in a beautiful setting on the bay with their closest of family and friends in attendance.  The hotel's tall stature masked most of the bike week and motorcycle noise and all that was left to hear was the birds and the sound of the rain.  Yes, rain.  It rained for what would have been the first twenty minutes of their ceremony and portraits but we held off and let the rain pass and were left with the beautiful clouds and overcast that left a glowing light for their ceremony and most of their portraits.  It was picturesque as the bay gently rolled over the sand in front of us.  The couple said their I Dos and we did family and friends portraits before whisking them off to take a few alone shots.  It was a great afternoon in Ocean City, MD to be married <3

Nearly in tears....I knew these guys had driven all night to be here in Ocean City and he wanted to start their vacation off with a bang.  When the proposal went down I had to focus hard on taking the photos because it was so incredibly emotional and beautiful to see in person on the beach first thing in the morning.  What a beautifully pulled off surprise, she was completely caught off guard and he was so excited to have it go down as he hoped.  Gorgeous sunrise, beautiful clear beach, light airy feeling to the light, just perfect!  Congratulations you two <3

Such a fun time out on the beach with this family from out of State enjoying the beach.  The weather was incredible and the sunset just gorgeous as we took their extended family photos on the beaches of Ocean City, MD.  I love navy and khaki for beach photos, they really turned out great!

Beach Family Portraits for Jeep Week, Dana Marie Photography | Ocean City, MD Photographer

Loved meeting this sweet family on the beach in Ocean City during Jeep Week for their beach family portraits.  Their kids were so cute and loved being out in the sand right at sunset.  The tide had left the coolest largest tidal pools right down the middle of the beach and we had the most fun playing in them together.  One of my favorite photos was her holding daddy's hand from behind, so sweet <3

When Mama booked the session and told me her son was a cowboy at Frontiertown during the summer, I got really excited about his senior portraits.  How fun to have my own private show of the cowboy and his whip and pistol twirling.  I knew I wanted to do something fun and crazy with lighting this young man's many talents and we pulled off all the tricks of the trade to create memory lasting photos to save for his senior year in high school.
